Course Syllabus

Abstract

The course is aimed at studying the basic principles of building communication networks of various levels and purposes and basic data transmission protocols. As a result of studying the course, students should gain knowledge, skills and practical skills in the field of design and operation of data transmission networks. Within the framework of the course, methods of switching and routing, network protocols, simulation and analytical methods for analyzing data transmission networks, methods for building multichannel digital systems and networks are studied. During the training, the control of students' knowledge is provided in the form of taking into account the activity of students at the seminar, homework, tests and exams.
