Course Syllabus
Abstract
The Cross Cultural Management subject equips students to appreciate key dimensions where cultures manifest distinctions in communication methods, motivational expectations, attitudes towards authority, permissible social conduct or ethical ideals.Learners would be able to practice advanced active listening, cultural translation, conflict resolution and situational evaluation techniques useful while operating in pluralistic environments.
Learning Objectives
- 1. Develop a comprehensive understanding of cross-cultural management frameworks and theoretical models that inform global business interactions.
- 2. Equip students with analytical tools to critically examine cultural variations in organizational behavior, communication strategies, and management practices.
- 3. Enhance students' problem-solving capabilities by introducing systematic approaches to addressing complex cross-cultural challenges in international management.
- 4. Foster ethical reasoning, strategic thinking and institutional analysis skills that support nuanced decision-making in multicultural contexts.
