Course Syllabus

Abstract

The primary objective of this course is to foster a comprehensive understanding the possibilities and constraints of sophisticated media algorithms and artificial intelligence in media field among students. Over the duration of the course, students will be encouraged to consider the process of development AI and media algorithms as a part of deep mediatization process. Within the framework of this course, students will consider real cases of using artificial intelligence within digital platforms and get a closer look to algorithms used on different media platforms. The curriculum emphasizes a critical lens, encouraging students to assess the ethical, social, and cultural dimensions associated with the utilization of AI in media contexts.
