Course Syllabus
Abstract
Целью научно-исследовательского семинара является развитие компетенций и навыков исследовательской работы у студентов, ознакомление с актуальными проблемами и направлениями исследований в области экономики окружающей среды, экономики устойчивого развития, экономики и политики изменения климата. Основная цель исследовательского семинара – подготовить студентов к независимой исследовательской деятельности в академических кругах, аналитических центрах и международных организациях. В ходе семинара студенты изучают основы проведения научных исследований, принципы выбора основных направлений научных исследований, структуру исследования и методологию проведения научно-исследовательской работы, а также формы представления результатов исследований.
Learning Objectives
- to enhance students' skills in academic writing, including formulating hypotheses, research questions, research objectives, work with literature, choosing research methods, and elaborating research design
- to provide students with understanding of connections between different aspects of academic field "environmental economics and sustainable development"
Expected Learning Outcomes
- Formulate and recognize the basic principles and concepts of climate reporting
- to apply the key principles and methods of conducting academic research
- able to prepare and defend research proposal
