Course Syllabus

Abstract

The discipline will provide a detailed understanding of the main trends of business development in India. The course has an applied orientation and is based on the study of business practices, which will help to form a complete picture of the legal, economic, political and cultural peculiarities of India in the context of business communication. In addition, the course will focus on strategies and opportunities for Russian companies to enter the Indian market.

  • Formation of a holistic understanding of the peculiarities of doing business and communicating with partners from India in the context of shifting the vector of Russian policy towards the Eastern direction;
  • Developing a basic understanding of the political-institutional, economic, and legal environment for business in India;
  • Understanding of general characteristics of economic and socio-political processes in India to specific cases, without which it is impossible to understand the practical side of cooperation;
  • Acquiring skills in market analysis, marketing strategy development, logistics planning and personnel management, taking into account Indian business culture and legislative peculiarities;
  • Acquisition of both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, which will allow students to unlock the potential for professional growth and a successful career in international business.
