Course Syllabus

Abstract

This class deals with North Korea's politics, economy, society and foreign relations in general. Since the end of Japanese colonialism, the Korean Peninsula has been divided into two separate entities, which were involved in fierce hostility and competition. Following Kim Dae Jung's Sunshine Policy, the politics of inter-Korean relations seems to be entering a new stage. Yet, the security anxiety between the two is still alive. The complete syllabus will be presented on the KHU's territory.
