Culture Studies

This programme continues and builds upon the traditions of UK and US cultural studies, supplementing their sociocritical perspective with the latest developments in the social sciences and philosophy. The thematic profile of the programme includes such modern cultural research topics as cultural anthropology, visual culture, material culture, and the cultural dimensions of emotion and sensitivity.

The new programme is an amalgamation of the School of Philosophy and Cultural Studies Master’s programmes in Applied Cultural Studies and Visual Culture.
