HSE Extreme Sports Club Invites Everyone to Open Tourist Rally

The 22nd HSE Open Tourist Rally will take place on September 20-21, 2014. The rally has been organized by HSE Extreme Sports club, and is open to all HSE students, as well as alumni and faculty. HSE students from Saint Petersburg and Nizhny Novgorod often come to Moscow to take part in the event. This time the rally will feature an additional quest element and lots of fun competitions as well as live music.

The rally will kick off at 1 pm on September 20 with a contest on the obstacle course where teams will use various mountaineering and climbing equipment, while on Saturday morning  there will be a paintball tournament at the nearby TopGun club.

The winners of the obstacle course will be announced in the evening of September 20. They will receive diplomas and prizes from the organizers. Then everyone will gather around a huge bonfire to hear stories about the summer activities of the Extreme club, which included rafting in Sayan mountains, trekking in Altai and Karelia, and many more exciting adventures.

On September 21 there will be several team contests including  comedy football, volleyball, Frisbee and various other sporting events.

The Extreme Sports club has been organizing tours, expeditions and various sports events for students, alumni and staff of the HSE and other universities for 15 years now. Club events are open to everybody.
