At the UBI Awards ceremony in London’s Trafalgar Square on November 25th, it was announced that HSE’s Business Incubator is 14th in the UBI Global best university business incubator rankings in 2015 and the only Russian representative in the top 25.

The digital age is opening up more and more opportunities for some of the most unbelievable startups imaginable – startups for which ideas and a drive to conquer new business territories take precedent. For Vitaly Aleksandrov, an HSE alumnus and the founder and head of the studio Out of Cloud, this territory was email marketing. The Higher School of Economics’ Business Incubator placed seventh in the UBI Global 2015 ranking of the best university business incubators in Europe. The results were announced at the regional UBI Awards in Europe ceremony in Turin. 

Moscow must become an international city that is livable, creates new types of individual industries, and ensures that our country is territorially united by developing regions on the periphery of the capital. Further, universities can become new points of growth for such a polycentric metropolis, HSE Rector Yaroslav Kuzminov said at the 2015 Moscow Urban Forum.

Books by the HSE Publishing House were presented at the 33 rd  International Book Fair LIBER 2015, which took place from October 7 th –9 th , 2015, in Madrid at IFEMA Feria de Madrid exhibition centre.

On October 10, a bench donated to the city by alumni of the Higher School of Economics was placed near the building at 22 Myasnitskaya Ulitsa. Graduates collected the money for the bench's installation in just one week. The bench's installation was also an occasion to discuss how students and alumni can participate in the city's development.
