The final stage of the first Russian Olympiad on Industrial Development, PROD, hosted by the Central University, T-Bank, and HSE University, has concluded in Moscow. More than 4,000 students from Russia and 22 other countries, including the UK, Germany, France, Canada, China, Belarus, and Peru, took part.

Anastas Karagadaev, a graduate of the master’s programme ‘Science, Technology and Innovation Management and Policy’ at the Institute for Statistical Studies and Economics of Knowledge (ISSEK) at HSE University, achieved significant career success even during his student years. Back then, he actively participated in the Laboratory for Science and Technology Studies at ISSEK and founded his own start-up. Indonesian Parliamentary Delegation at HSE: New Prospects for Cooperation
On 24 February, 2025, the HSE campus on Pokrovka hosted a meeting with a delegation from the Committee for Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia. Mirror Laboratory of HSE and UTM Shares Its First Achievements
In autumn of 2024, a delegation from Malaysia, led by Minister of Higher Education Zambry bin Abdul Kadir, visited the HSE campus in St Petersburg. One of the key topics of discussion was the initial results of the mirror laboratory, a joint initiative between HSE University-St Petersburg and the University of Technology Malaysia (UTM).

HSE ICEF and China’s SWUFE RIEM Launch Double Master’s Degree
In January 2025, HSE University entered into a cooperation agreement with the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE) to implement a double master’s that joins ICEF’s Financial Economics programme with SWUFE’s Master's in Finance. Combining the best of China and Russia’s academic frameworks, this new degree offers a unique study-abroad experience. In this collaboration, HSE ICEF is partnering with the Research Institute of Economics and Management (RIEM), which was established at SWUFE in 2006 to facilitate top-level, international research and training in economics and finance.
