The Master in International Management attracts students from all over the world. Students undergo rigorous training in global strategies and operations; digital transformation and new business models; and corporate social responsibility and sustainable development. In the interview, Juliet Otor Abeyi (Nigeria) and Nikolai Mathieu Muller (France), both first-year Master’s students, talk about why they chose the programme, how their first semester went, and what they hope to gain from their studies at HSE. Anna Gryaznova, Academic Supervisor of the programme, comments on the distinguishing features of the programme.

Alena Akmatova and Svetlana Ilyushina, graduates of the HSE Art and Design School Master’s programme (2017), won the open Russian Post competition, which was held jointly with the Novgorod regional government and the Novgorod State Museum-Reserve in the autumn of 2020. Participants had to design a series of limited edition postcards and packaging dedicated to the cultural and historical heritage of the region

HSE Alums Take Home Prizes in Two International Data Competitions

Ekaterina Melianova and Artem Volgin, both graduates of the Master’s Programme Applied Statistics with Network Analysis, took second place in two CDP competitions: the Unlocking Climate Solutions Kaggle Competition and the COVID-19 Symptom Data Challenge. In the coronavirus-related data competition, the HSE graduates outperformed professors and PhD students of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, the University of Washington, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and other foreign universities.

Apply for the HSE University Study Tour Experience

The International Study Tour experience is currently accepting applications for February 2021. The programme is organized by the International Admissions team with the aim of giving international students an opportunity to get a glimpse of what studying at HSE University is like. Participants attend various classes in different fields of study. Last November, the programme was held online for the first time. The February round will also be held fully online, so students from all over the world can take part. Application deadline is February 8.
