A team of experts from the PRME Working Group on Thinking for Sustainable Development, led by its founder Isabel Rimanoszi and Ekaterina Ivanova, Associate Professor at the HSE Graduate School of Business, received an award for the best professional development workshop from the disciplinary division “Management, Spirituality and Religion” of the 84th international conference ‘AOM 2024 Chicago: Innovating for the Future: Policy, Purpose and Organisations’. The event took place on 9-13 August in Chicago, USA.

The winners of the prestigious 2024 Flourish Prize international competition dedicated to celebration of business as an agent of world benefit are this year's graduates of the Master's programme in International Management at the HSE Graduate School of Business. Daria Plotnikova, Ahmad Fahim Enayat, Nim Sisil Damayantha Panavala Kankanamge, Zohrab Serobian and Aysenem Bazarova, under the guidance of Ekaterina Ivanova, Associate Professor of GSB Strategic and International Management Department, won the 2024 Flourish Prize. They were awarded for the story of ‘Digital Technologies and Rehabilitation’ from Motorica company in the nomination of the UN Global Goal 3 ‘Good Health and Wellbeing’.
International Week on Sustainability at the University of Antwerp: live impressions from the GSB delegation
I-Week (International Week on Sustainability) took place in Antwerp, Belgium, on 18-22 March. Students from the HSE Graduate School of Business and —for the first time — ones from HSE-University World Politics Department and the Department of Geography and Geoinformation Technologies took part in the event. 5 people participated in the offline format, 17 were able to join online, and the idea inspirer of the Russian I-Week delegation Ekaterina Ivanova, Associate Professor at the GSB Department of Strategic and International Management, continued to be part of the faculty team of this prestigious programme.
Students and professors of the HSE Graduate School of Business form a culture of sustainable tourism in Russia
The All-Russian online conference on sustainable tourism “Tourism of the Future” took place on 23-25 October, bringing together leading experts and representatives of the tourism industry from different regions of the country. The rich conference programme covered all aspects of sustainable tourism of the future, involving more than 50 speakers. The conference was attended by over 800 representatives of companies in the industry, including accommodation facilities, such as resorts and tour companies, as well as restaurants, guides, beauty brands and IT. One of the organisers of the conference was Yulia Frolova, a second-year student of the GSB Master's programme “Management of Sustainable Company Development”, being the part of the team of the eco-travel startup HEBI Travel.
The delegation of the HSE Graduate School of Business took part in the Caucasus Mountain Forum on Sustainable Tourism
The Third Caucasus Mountain Forum on Sustainable Tourism took place on July, 4-6, 2023 in Kutaisi State University named after Akaki Tsereteli. At this international scientific conference, held in hospitable Georgia, the Russian delegation was represented by Ekaterina Ivanova, Associate Professor of the Department of Strategic and International Business at GSB, and first year students of the Master's programme "Management of Sustainable Development of the Company".
HSE Graduate School of Business Student Teams Win Flourish Prize 2021
In the contest organized by AIM2Flourish, students from various countries tell stories about companies that promote the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals. HSE students won in the global goals of ‘Quality Education’ and ‘Partnerships for the Goals’ with cases of Kaspersky and VimpelCom PJSC (Beeline brand), respectively. They have become the first Russian representatives to earn these prestigious awards.
