How to Receive a MIR Banking Card
Here is what international students need to do in order to get a MIR scholarship card from VTB Bank

The MIR scholarship card is NOT the same as the card you use in public transport (aka ‘social’ card). Only scholarship (‘quota’) students need to receive a MIR card.
To submit your request for a MIR card, please email to std@hse.ru the following documents:
- Completed * and signed request form
- Photo/scan of a notarized passport translation
- Valid temporary registration slip (registration is only obligatory if you are currently residing in the Russian Federation)
In the subject line, please specify ‘MIR scholarship card for HSE University students’
* Full name in the request should be written out in Russian—you can copy the way it is written in your student ID card or pass to HSE University’s buildings. Other fields may be filled out in other languages.
Two weeks are submitting a request for issuing a banking card, you can receive an update on the status of the card by contacting us at: std@hse.ru.
