Серия семинаров приглашенного профессора в области "Управления Интернетом"

С 16 по 19 декабря для всех желающих студентов Программы была организована серия семинаров в области "Управления Интернетом"

С гостевыми лекциями приехал один из ведущих мировых специалистов в области Управления Интернетом - Доктор Вольфганг Кляйнвахтер. 

Краткая автобиография представлена ниже:

Wolfgang Kleinwaechter is a Professor for International Communication Policy and Regulation at the Department for Media and Information Studies of the University of Aarhus in Denmark where he teaches since 1998 a full Master Course on “Internet Policy & Regulation”.

He has studied Communication, International Law and International Relations at the University of Leipzig (B.A. 1971, M.A. 1974, Ph.D. 1981) and the Moscow Institute for International Relations. His academic teachingexperiences include Institute for International Studies, University of Leipzig (until 1991), Department for Communication, University of Tampere (1991/1992 and again since 2005), School of International Services (SIS) at the American University in Washington, D.C, (1992/1994), Institute for Communication at the Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg (2000 – 2004), School of Communication at the University of Aalborg (1998 – 2001), Department for Media and Communication Studies, University of Oerebro (2004/2005), Faculty of Journalism, Moscow State University (2008) and Heilbronn Business School (2008). He gave lectures at more than 40 universities around the globe, including Hongkong, Singapore, Manila, Taipeh, Santiago de Chile, Boulder/Colorado, Seattle, Philadelphia, Helsinki, Zürich, Graz, Oslo, Budapest, Sofia, Poznan.

He is involved in Internet Governance issues since the early 1990s and has participated in 43 ICANN meetings. He was a member of ICANNs Membership Information Task Force (MITF) and the Steering Committee of At Large (2001/2002). He served five years in ICANNs Nomination Committee, in 2009/2010 as its chair. In 2011 he was elected into ICANNs GNSO Council. From 2008 to 2010 he was a member of the Advisory Council of the Dublin based “Dotmobi Inc” (representing the Internet Users) and was invited to serve as an “International Adviser” for the Chinese Information Network Center (CNNIC). He is the founder and Chair of the ICANN Studienkreis, a non-governmental expert group supported, inter alia by ICANN accredited registries and registrars.

Кроме этого Доктор Кляйнвахтер является членом управляющего совета ICANN.
В рамках проведенной серии семинаров была дана информация о современных организациях, активно вовлеченных в процесс управления Интернетом, о возможностях для студентов получить финансирование на выполнение инициативных исследовательских проектов, а также получить финансовую поддержку на участие в международных мероприятиях в области управления Интернетом.

В рамках Российского форума по управлению Интернетом в апреле 2015 года запланирован доклад Доктора Кляйнвахтера, а также возможно состоится открытая лекция для студентов НИУ ВШЭ всех образовательных программ.
