HSE University’s Online Campus Launches Courses on Three Partner Platforms
Open online courses from leading HSE University researchers are now available on the Russian platforms Lektorium and Edutoria and the Chinese platform XuetangX. HSE University’s online campus now offers more than 350 large-scale open online courses taken not only by HSE students and external attendees, but also by 15,000 online students from partner universities in Russia and other CIS countries.

Data Science and Business Analytics Double Degree Programme Students Receive First Results of London Exams
DSBA students study in the double degree programme of HSE University and University of London. Once a year, they face a special task - they take British exams. This spring, forty-nine students from the first admission to the programme checked their knowledge in Business and management in a global context, Introduction to economics, Mathematical methods, Statistics 1and 2. Due to the pandemic, both preparation and exams took place online.
Online course Math for Economists
HSE and Coursera open a new course for students interested in economics and finance who did not have comprehensive instruction in Mathematics during their undergraduate studies.
Laureates of Golden HSE 2016
On December 20, 2016, the ZIL Cultural Centre hosted this year’s Golden HSE awards ceremony. This year saw several significant changes to the award rules: new nominations have appeared, many of them were divided into categories for different groups of employees — all to help ensure HSE was able to express its gratitude to a larger number of worthy candidates.
Partnership with the Oldest European University
Last year was designated the year of Russia in Italy and Italy in Russia. Nina Belyaeva, Head of the HSE Department of Public Policy, told us about the HSE’s cooperation with one of its key Italian partners – the University of Bologna, as well as about new academic mobility opportunities for HSE undergraduate and postgraduate students.
AHELO: In Order to Be Precise in Evaluations
From November 23rd – 29th 2011, a training programme for national managers on the Assessment of Higher Education Learning Outcomes (AHELO) project took place at the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) headquarters in Paris. The HSE is one of the coordinating universities for this project and representatives from our university attended this event.
