Course Syllabus
Abstract
The objectives for the course are to enable students to: ∙ master the basic concepts and methods for ensuring health and safety of a person; ∙ form a holistic understanding about security in social and student life; ∙ obtain practical skills for ensuring their safety in their life at the university and in the city (Moscow), as well as skills for maintaining their personal privacy and data protection, as well as psychological well-being; ∙ obtain knowledge and skills for ensuring safety that are necessary for social and professional activities.
Learning Objectives

- Knows and uses tools of academic development at the HSE University
- Knows basic information about HSE University, understands how it operates and is aware of adminisrative hierarchy
- Find out all the possibilities for the students' academic development
- Get skills for maintaining their personal privacy and data protection
- Get to know how to use Corporate information systems
- how to take affordable social assistance
- know general rules for emergency response
- Know how to do homework, what are the requirements for work, deadlines for submission of homework.
- Understanding of the rules of Corporate culture and extracurricular life, knows how to communicate with professors, staff and administrative crew
