Аннотация
The course "Russian" is designed for Global Business students and taught at HSE, JKU and UniBG throughout the first year. To successfully complete the course the students should have the following knowledge and competences: - should be able to read the Russian (Cyrillic) alphabet; - greet people (both friends and strangers); - introduce themselves and others; - count; - make simple positive and negative statements; - ask questions; - describe their family; - talk about the place where they live; - speak about their daily routines; - make purchases in Russian; - identify the purpose of short texts, eg greetings, requests, statements; - respond to greetings, questions, commands in verbal/nonverbal ways in familiar social interactions such as games, role-plays, classroom instructions; - produce texts, eg greeting cards, posters, using a range of media; - organise and present information, eg by selecting from options to label pictures and complete sentences

- The aim of the course «Russian» is to form basic skills of the Russian language on the phonetical, grammatical, and lexical levels.
