Course Syllabus

Abstract

Mentor’s seminar (MS) is an additional "playground" for academic communication between the students and the Academic supervisor of the programme together with the invited specialists from the different HSE University Units. A guided development of the research ideas and the ways of their finalization in the papers or analytical works gives the students’ opportunities for the basic academic and research skills improvement. Within the MS activity the students could be oriented to the research fields close to their interests and advantages as well as the vision of the skills to be developed and improved for the further achievement in different fields (including the academic and market spheres).

  • The main goals of this discipline are following: 1) To guide the students with their research ideas converted into the materials for the proposal and finally to the thesis 2) To guide the students with the electives 3) To demonstrate the opportunities of the practical use for the skills received

  • 1) This course will provide you with knowledge on the basics of economy;
  • - Identify trends and challenges for HRM in the global organizational context
  • A student compares research design
  • A student knows the main approaches in the field and can use the main methods in political science
  • - Understand public speaking, including through technical means; - extract implicit information from an oral message of a monological or dialogical nature;
  • Able to think critically and interpret the experience (personal and of other persons), relate to professional and social activities
  • A student can critically evaluate and rethink the accumulated experience (one's own and another's), think about professional and social activities.
