Course Syllabus

Abstract

Projects are all around us. Every company runs projects, either formally or informally. Project management has been proven to be the most effective method of delivering products within costs, schedule and resource constrains. This course is designed to give students the fundamentals of project management. Students will learn basic principles of project management. This course gives knowledge and skills to identify and manage the product scope, create a work breakdown structure, develop a project plan and budget, define and allocate resources, estimate and manage risks.

  • Able to prepare project management plan, create WBS, validate and control scope, define and sequence activities, estimate activity duration, develop and control schedule
