Course Syllabus
Abstract
The discipline includes two interrelated sections "Corporate Social Responsibility" and "Sustainable Development". The first section "Corporate Social Responsibility" involves a combination of theoretical and practical classes. Within the framework of theoretical classes, students will gain knowledge about the main approaches to the study of universal ethics, about the problems and techniques of applied ethics, as well as about the concept of CSR, joint efforts of the state, business, society in the implementation of CSR and international legislation regulating CSR. Practical classes are aimed at developing students' skills and abilities to integrate tools of applied ethics and business ethics concepts into management processes in the company; skills in solving ethical dilemmas, using tools to regulate ethical behavior in the company. The second section "Sustainable Development" examines the key concepts and foundations for integrating ethics, responsibility and ESG strategies into business practice.
