Course Syllabus

Abstract

Almost every modern device has a baseband radio processor. Its performance is the object of numerous IEEE papers and master’s programs. Until recently, progress in telecom was achieved mainly due to physics and technologies, but now mathematics and algorithms become the main source of improvements. We aim to show how fundamental mathematics (incl. non-constructive theorems of existence) can be beneficial for practical needs. IT and R&D research specifics will be demonstrated while studying telecom problems that arise in real life.
