Course Syllabus
Abstract
English for Financiers. The course will enable students to improve the reading, speaking, writing and listening skills they need to communicate in a financial context. The main focus of teaching is on financial topics, which will allow students to successfully continue studying other English courses that they will study as part of the master's program. Studying articles in the academic and financial press on course topics will help develop students' reading skills. Knowledge of English at level B1 is a prerequisite for taking this course.

- building professional vocabulary on the topics of the course and the ability to practice it in different contexts
- developing communication skills: ability to discuss a vast number of financial topics and to perform in various professional roles

- developing writing skills: writing essays, preparing summaries of financial texts and articles
- obtaining skills of reading and analysing academic and financial press articles
