Assessment Elements

  • non-blocking Regular In-class Activity (homework assignments, case studies, group tasks, quizzes)
Tutorials following the lecture in each session provide students with the opportunity to apply and share knowledge by doing a variety of in-class activities individually or in groups such as exercises, discussion, and presentations. These activities focus on demonstrating students' skills and help them build their ability to achieve the learning outcomes for this unit. Tutorial questions/exercises/tasks will be regularly set. Students will be expected to complete specific reading and exercises from the textbook and other required materials prior to attending each lecture and tutorial class. If the students have not prepared adequately, they will not be able to benefit from this learning opportunity. The other in-class activities are also based on individual and/or group work, according to the educational technology used: quizzes, problem solving, case studies, discussions, etc. The student has the right to complete assignments and receive missing grades for cancelled seminars only if the training office informs the instructor leading the seminar about the availability of sufficient valid exculpatory documents (for example, a medical certificate) prior to the next seminar following the end of the illness or any other respectful confirmed right to absence. Depending on the circumstance, students may receive an individual assignment to complete the missed seminar(s) and agree to a completion date with the instructor. Attention! At a later date (at the end of the module, the course, etc.), even if there are exculpatory documents, the opportunity to work out missed seminars will not be provided.
  • non-blocking Group assignment `Compensation analysis`
  • non-blocking Team-based project `Analysis of HR practices` based on the chosen company
  • non-blocking Written exam: Test
A test format exam is conducted at the end of the discipline covering all of the included topics. The exam lasts 45 minutes. The questions format: multiple choice, open-ended questions, short cases. The weight of each question is indicated directly next to the task in the exam. Students take this exam individually.
