Course Syllabus
Abstract
Studying on the course "Managing a Project Team" you will learn: - what is a project team, what are the principles of its formation and development; - what kind of processes of project team management are distinguished in the standards of project management; - what kind of personal qualities and professional skills should be developed by a project team member for the project to be successful. On the course, students will learn to: - draw up a project team management plan based on the project WBS, - distribute and document the roles of project participants, - draw up a project team development plan,- manage group interaction, use accessible means of communication and exchange of ideas for information and knowledge management in the project.
Expected Learning Outcomes
- A student defines the key terms from PMBOK standard related to the team management issues
- A student develops a project team's knowledge map
- A student documents the team members' roles and responsibilities
- A student creates the structure of the meetings aimed at knowledge sharing and social learning
