Course Syllabus
Abstract
The syllabus of the course Enterprise Architecture Perfecting declares the minimum requirements to the knowledge and the skills of students obtained after adopting the course content. It determines the content of classes and the type of knowledge control (examination). The course of enterprise architecture perfecting is dedicated to the utmost urgent and actual problem of management of the digital transformation. Students will be able to discover the impact of modern technologies on business models and business ecosystems and develop the abilities of the team working on the basis of interrelated goals for the cross-cutting project.
Learning Objectives
- The course Enterprise Architecture Perfecting is aimed at acquiring an advanced level of knowledge in the field of Digital Transformation (DT) and its impact on Enterprise Architecture. This course provides a step-by-step guide to planning Digital Transformation and tools for describing Business models, Enterprise Architecture, and establishing a DT projects portfolio.

- Competencies providing an understanding of business architecture, the impact of introducing new IСT technologies on the efficiency of enterprise management, changing the value chain
- Competencies to analyze the innovation activity and innovative potential of the enterprise
- Competencies to apply systems analysis and modeling methods to analyze, improve and design enterprise architecture
- Competencies to formulate an enterprise architecture development strategy and lead its implementation
- Competencies to prepare analytical materials for developing and evaluating strategic decisions in the field of ICT

Assessment Elements
- Activity at workshopsThis course is based on the flipped classroom model - a type of blended learning in which students are introduced to content at home and practice working through it in the classroom. The audience is divided into teams (max of 5 people). During the course, each team will go through the sequential stages of Digital Transformation strategy development. At each stage, using online training materials, each team prepares the next step of the Digital Transformation strategy at home. Results are discussed and refined in classroom workshops.
