Course Syllabus
Abstract
This course explores the brain bases of bilingualism by discussing literature relevant to differences in age of initial learning, proficiency, and control in the nonverbal, single language and dual-language literature.
Learning Objectives
- Participants will learn about the latest research related to how humans learn one or two languages and other cognitive skills.
Expected Learning Outcomes
- Students will be able to compare developmental parameters of language acquisition of children and adult bilinguals
- Students will look at various processes affecting language shift and professional experise within the language efficiency
- To introduce students to past and current conceptual developments in bilingual and neuroscience research
- We investigate various complex of bilingual practices withis social diversity and gender issue
