Course Syllabus

Abstract

The purpose of the course is to familiarize students with modern concepts and principles of functioning of a modern industrial enterprise with respect to strategic procurement and supply chain management and to develop students’ analytical and decision-making skills related to strategic procurement and supply chain management. Within the framework of the course the following topics will be offered to students: role of strategic procurement and supply chain management in an industrial enterprise, logistics integration and coordination, cross-finctional conflicts in logistics process.

  • Plan and perform independent research projects in the area of supply chain management applying the advanced concepts of the strategic procurement management, lean principles and operational excellence
