Campus news at HSE University

In Russia according to changes in the Federal Law on Education approved two years ago and coming into effect with the start of the new academic year,  the majority of universities will be enrolling students into Bachelor's and Master's programs instead of traditional five-year courses . The HSE Deputy rector Vadim Radayev comments on the innovation for the RIA Novosti correspondent Yulia Medvedovskaya.

On May 24th the first independently organized TED conference in Russia was held at the HSE. The conference was supported by the “Business in RU Style” club and the HSE Business Incubator.

A project entitled "Morality and Trust in Old and New Market Economies" has been running since 2007 as a joint research teaching activity included in the MA Program of Applied Social Research of Markets (head - Prof. V. Radaev) at the Higher School of Economics and the Research Institute for Sociology, University of Cologne, Germany.

Most of the delegates at the 10th International Academic Conference on economic and social development in Russia think the event is a contribution to professional community integration.

The 10th International Academic Conference on economic and social development in Russia has started at the HSE. Katerina Rylko, the HSE News service correspondent, interviewed some delegates about different aspects of the event.

On March 20, the HSE Academic Council approved 11 Masters` programmes.
