Students in the Transmedia Production in Digital Industries Master’s programme have done a project on the professions of the future. Covering trends and key professions, the project helps students assess potential academic trajectories. The main part of the project is a non-fiction book ‘What’s Next? Professions of the Future’, which is based on the ‘Androids and Electric Sheep’ podcast by Forbes and X5 Group. The book has been published on the Ridero platform.
Creative Industries, Social Protection Measures, and Research Income: HSE in 2022
A regular session of the HSE Academic Council considered the key aspects of university’s operations in 2022. In particular, the business plan for 2022 and the planning period of 2023 and 2024 was approved, the decision to rename the Faculty of Communications, Media and Design to the Faculty of Creative Industries was made, and the Regulations on Organization of Interim and Ongoing Assessment of Students were approved.

‘We Know Where to Find Geoinformation and How to Work with It’

In addition to developing its own research and commercial projects, the Centre provides auxiliary educational services related to the collection and processing of spatial data, performs geographic analysis, captures video and photo using drones, and processes data received via remote probing of the Earth. Faculty of Social Sciences Launches New Joint Seminar Series with New York University
In November 2021, HSE University’s School of Politics and Governance and the Jordan Center for the Advanced Study of Russia (New York University) started a new partnership project that involves regular joint online seminars. Denis Stukal, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Deputy Director of the Institute for Applied Political Studies, has commented on the initiative.
How HSE University’s Newly Launched Film Institute Will Work
The founders of the HSE Film Institute have described it as an alternative to acknowledged film schools, a brand-new approach to cinema education, and a place to learn acting skills under the industry’s best teachers. On November 22, HSE University Rector Nikita Anisimov welcomed renowned Russian film producers, actors and other industry professionals to an event dedicated to the new institute.
HSE University to Establish Four New International Labs
Two international laboratories will be created at the HSE University Institute of Electronics and Mathematics, one at the Faculty of Geography and Geoinformation Technology, and one at the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology. The four projects were selected from a total of 17 applications.
HSE University among Founders of Super C-Tau Factory
Ten universities and institutes have announced a partnership to construct an electron-positron collider in order to study the production and properties of charmed particles and tau leptons. The new experiment will be part of the Super C-Tau Factory project. It was founded by two international teams and eight from Russia, including HSE University.
