‘The Competition Lets Students Feel Like Scientists’
On February 5, 2024, the award ceremony for the winners and laureates of the Student Research Paper Competition (SRPS) 2023 took place. The competition received 1,730 papers in 25 categories from university students across Russia.
Andrey Poletayev Memorial Readings
On September 9, 2016, VI Poletayev Memorial Readings entitled "Natual Sciences and Humanities: New Interaction (Dis)Order" were held at the Higher School of Economics. Among the participants were two guest speakers: Karl Hall from Central European University (Budapest) and Kornelius Borck from Lübeck University (Lübeck).
HSE Student Guided Tours Offer Unique Insight into Moscow
The Student Initiative Support Centre and the HSE Faculty of Humanities are jointly organising free guided tours around Moscow. The tours are designed by final year students. Most tours are in Russian but the organizers are ready to schedule additional English-language tours for international students.
Dahl’s Explanatory Dictionaryand other linguistic games
On February 13 th , professors and students from the School of Linguistics held a session of linguistic games for the Russian Language finalists of the Olympiad “Vysshaya Proba” (“the purest tint”). Katerina Goncharova, Lyubov Klimenchenko, and Nikita Medyankin headed by the Associate Professor Vladimir Fayer conducted the linguistic games designed by several professors from the School of Linguistics.
